NICU Hospital for my journeyGeorge Washington University Hospital
My NICU Graduate's JourneyBorn at 31+5 weeks, Valentina's journey began with a two-month stay in the NICU at George Washington University Hospital. Bringing her home after those trying months was an indescribable moment, filled with joy, relief, and a deep sense of gratitude. As we introduced Valentina to her new surroundings, we felt a profound sense of responsibility and love, knowing that this would be the place where she would flourish under our care and nurture. With her first birthday approaching on June 3rd, we are preparing to celebrate this monumental milestone in the heart of the nation's capital, where Valentina, a first-generation American baby, symbolizes the beautiful bridge between her mother's homeland and our home in the US. As her medical providers call her, "Madam President" is navigating experiences and adventures in the daycare with the same resiliency and adaptability that she demonstrated in the NICU.
What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?Valentina's journey has taught us the true meaning of resilience and courage. We are forever inspired by her unwavering spirit and strength. From the NICU, to the daycare, to the White House one day, we immensely proud of our valiant girl Valentina.
