My NICU Graduate's Journey
Montana was born at 23 weeks, after onset on severe preeclampsia. She had stopped growing and was the size of a 21 weeker at 14oz (400g). She underwent heart surgery before she was two months old and spent 143 days in NICU. Upon her home arrival she was on oxygen on a full time basis but was able to kick that after six months. She was officially cleared by her cardiologist and pulmonologist before her 2nd birthday. Today she is a thriving 10 year old who loves soccer and anime.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Her drive and independence. She continues to go about life in her own way and we are so proud to be her parents.
