My NICU Graduate's Journey
I was admitted into the hospital with preeclampsia on September 3, 2022; the day of my baby shower. One month before my due date. I was induced and did very well while laboring. During an examination, the doctor thought she felt my son’s finger resting on his head and couldn’t change his position. So I was prepared for an emergency c section. My gorgeous son, JeanMichael, was born shortly after with his foot on his forehead!!! He had a few struggles and remained in the NICU for a month while his lungs strengthened and he learned to eat. He is now thriving! He is a funny, curious, and very smart ball of energy that loves Cookie Monster!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
JeanMichael is a strong willed and adventurous little boy. He never stops exploring and studying the world around him.
