My NICU Graduate's Journey
Levi was born at 28 weeks 3 days, IUGR at 1 pound 14 ounces. Levi was born at John Muir Walnut Creek and was transferred to Oakland Children Hospital where he had a four month stay. Levi has a mass on his liver that we are still monitoring for surgery if needed. Levi came home for 5 months now and recently came off his home oxygen support. Levi is a strong resilient baby boy.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Levi has been a strong boy since day one of being born. Being born early doesn’t defy Levi. He has been resilient and has been growing at his own pace. He is now caught up in size for boys his age with a huge smile on his face. His dimple is an extra plus.
