My NICU Graduate's Journey
Everything was fine until the last week of checkups. My doctor advised me to get induced because according to her my baby was too big (8 pounds). He was induced on a Monday he was due that Saturday (she told me she doesn’t work on Saturday) I was not informed that getting induced makes your baby at risk for infection when your water breaks and that’s what happened according to them he was in too long he didn’t want to come out but he came Wednesday and they immediately took him to the NICU where he stayed for a week and it was a very long week because I left the hospital without my baby but he is home now and growing each and everyday and for that I am forever grateful

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He has the greatest smile ever and he is always laughing and smiling such a happy baby
