My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our sweet boy was growth restricted, and taken by c-section two weeks early. He had a significant hole in his left lung and a small one on the right. He was very little as well, just barely six pounds at birth. He spent almost a week in the joint and is thriving now! He even met a nurse who had been in the NICU herself! He made a super sweet impact on everyone he met, being so tough and strong. He was blessed with a speedy recovery, a special thanks to all his lovely nurses. We are blessed by all their assistance. Since then he has reached 12 pounds, probably exceeded it in these weeks since his two month appointment. He enjoys lots of breast milk, swinging in his swing, and being cuddled by mommy!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I’m so proud of him because he is the strongest and sweetest boy I’ve met! He’s so alert and ready to learn. He has an amazing temperament, very patient and loving. He’s even trying to walk on us!
