My NICU Graduate's Journey
Parker was born 10 week due to complications related to premature rupture of membranes. He weighed 2lbs 15oz and spent 8+ weeks in the NICU.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Parker has not liked to be told what to do from the start! At 26 weeks, he got the memo to come early, but he miraculously held out for nearly a month before being born. Since he did not have amniotic fluid to practice sucking and swallowing with during that time, he struggled a lot with feedings while he was in the NICU. In the meantime, having to learn that skill did not stop him from pulling out his feeding tube and trying to call the shots. 2 years later and he is now a sassy toddler who is still doing the exact opposite of what he is told. His spunky personality is one of the things we love so much about him!
