My NICU Graduate's Journey
Waverly (Wavy for short) was born at 33 weeks. She faced a ton of complications including NEC, a bowel infection, that almost took her life and caused her to have an emergency surgery and more complications down the road. We moved and she was transported via helicopter to Riley Children’s in Indianapolis where she spent another couple months before finally coming after 287 days in the NICU

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Wavy has defied so many odds stacked against her already in her short life. She has complications still but she is the happiest, smiliest girl. She has humbled us and leaves everyone she meets better than before they met her
