My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cody was born 10 weeks early. He spent 4 weeks in the NICU while he learned to eat, breathe, and grow on his own. It wasn’t without set backs and bumps along the way. At 4 weeks old he was cleared to go home. The joy of his homecoming was short lived, when a week later, he stopped breathing and received CPR to save his life. He spent another week in the hospital before going home again, this time with a heart monitor. He has lived a seemingly normal childhood thus far and defied all odds! He is thriving and living life to the fullest.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Despite the struggles he has faced early on, he has thrived in every way imaginable. He has had some minor setbacks from prematurity but takes them with stride and continues to persevere.
