My NICU Graduate's Journey
Amrek was born at 34 weeks via emergency c-section, weighing a little over 4 lbs. The cpap resulted in a hole in a lung due to his lungs not being quite developed enough to handle that pressure. He was fighter and now has the strongest set of lungs I’ve ever seen and uses them to sing to the world. He’s 14 now singing, writing and playing his own music that will be released soon! He plays football, basketball and baseball! This kid can do it all!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Amrek is the sweetest kindest soul, you can ask anyone that knows him. He loves to hug people! And he hugs with all he is ….and that's a pretty big boy now!
