My NICU Graduate's Journey
Sa'maj tried entering the world at 19 weeks, I was 2 cm dilated and rushed into hospital bedrest. He was born 6 weeks early. Sa'maj has graduated from all of the medications that he was on the first 4 years of his life. He is actively involved in BMX racing, track, swimming, soccer and whatever sport that holds his interest. He is also a car enthusiast. Sa'maj gets A's and usually 1 B on his report card. He is in honors math and an avid reader. He gets high praises from most people who know him and is always willing to help. He's not perfect but he has a willingness to be great. Life hasn't been the greatest for this kid but he makes the best out of it regardless. Family, regardless of blood is what he loves the most.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Everything makes me proud of the young man he is and the man he will become.
