My NICU Graduate's Journey
Drew was born at almost 24 weeks old and was 1 pound 9 oz. He was in the NICU at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital for 131 days. His first 10 weeks of life were on a ventilator, too sick to hold for the first 30 days. Drew has BPD, GERD, vision problems, a g-tube, and has some developmental delays. He experienced several illness and hospitalizations during his elementary school years.

Drew loves basketball (especially going to Michigan games), video games, hanging out with friends, spending time with his older brother, enjoys singing, playing with his cats, and being around family. He is a kind-hearted teenager with a witty sense of humor that constantly keeps us on our toes:). He has spunk and an infectious personality.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Drew’s works hard every day. He has a positive personality, strong resolve, and a zest for life.
