My NICU Graduate's Journey
Cassie was born at 36 weeks. When she was born she was not breathing or responsive. She was blue and things weren’t looking good. She was put on a CPAP immediately, had a feeding tube inserted, along with so many other wires. She was 5 lbs but I learned quickly to never count out the little guy (or girl in this scenario). One week later she had overcome the odds of being told she would be in the hospital for at least a month and was discharged! Now she is thriving and enjoying everyday. She smiles ALL the time and brings so much joy to the world!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is a fighter. Being her mom is the greatest gift I have ever been given!!
