My NICU Graduate's Journey
Junior was born at 27 weeks and 1 day. He had severe pulmonary issues, a stage 2 brain bleed and a PDA. After a 100 day NICU stay and a ground breaking heart surgery (the smallest coil ever used to close a PDA in the state of CT) we were able to go home. With the support of CT children’s follow up and birth to 3 program, he is thriving today!
