My NICU Graduate's Journey
I had pre-eclampsia during my pregnancy. My son was a 35 week preemie. He spent the first 2 weeks in the NICU being tube fed because he didn't have the suck, swallow reflex yet. He had the need for IV antibiotics and oxygen due to fluid in the lungs. He has had bumps in the road but looking forward to starting High School next year.

I am proud he is unapologetically himself
