NICU Hospital for my journeyProvidence Hospital
My NICU Graduate's JourneyLogan was born a month early and spent 10 days in the NICU learning to breathe. He had the cord wrapped around his neck and aspirated amniotic fluid. His little lungs weren't ready and he ended up with jaundice. After some time in the incubator, he was moved to the fish bowl, getting oxygen until he was able to regulate his own oxygen levels. After the longest 10 days of my life, he was finally able to come home and meet his sister and brother.
What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?Logan is now a 5'8 athlete. He's on his school tennis team and plays with another junior tennis team. He's a red belt in martial arts and teaches students who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Logan is also a life scout, one step away from Eagle. He always says that not even the universe could keep him down. He never gives up, is a great advocate for others, and has the biggest heart.
