My NICU Graduate's Journey
Morgan was born at 29 weeks exactly due to a Placental Abruption. She was 2 pounds, 14 ounces. My first child, born 11 weeks early, during the Pandemic. Morgan was in the NICU for approximately 70 days. Transitioning from tube feeds to bottle was her biggest obstacle. She ended up having a swallow study which found she’d been aspirating her bottle feeds. She was discharged after we figured that out, and thickened her formula. Morgan just turned 4 and is thriving!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I’m proud of how smart, funny, and kind she is.
