My NICU Graduate's Journey
Chevy was born 9 weeks early, on world prematurity day. He weighed 4 lbs but quickly dropped below 3. He was on a ventilator and a feeding tube for a few weeks. It was touch and go for a while but he pulled through like a champ. We spent 6 weeks in the NICU and an additional week in the hospital after discharge. Today he is 4 years old, in preschool and if you knew him you would never know he had such a rough start.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Chevy is a hard worker, full of life and love. He is such a positive kid to be around. Loves animals and farming. He currently has goats, pigs, cattle and chickens that he helps take care of.
