My NICU Graduate's Journey
Dona'van was born at full term on June 29, 2001 by cesarean section weighing 8 lbs. 8 oz. and 19.5 in. long. He was born with underdeveloped lungs and a heart murmur. Dona'van was the largest baby in NICU, but he was also one of the sickest. His size dubbed him "Little Giant" amongst the staff. His stay in NICU would include his first 4th of July. He was released on July 7, 2001.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Dona'van graduated high school in 2019 and moved to New York where he is now modeling and thriving. He has persevered through many health issues including asthma. He does not let anyone or anything stop him from accomplishing anything he puts his mind to.
