My NICU Graduate's Journey
Olivia was born with a birth defect called a Giant Omphalocele, which means her intestines, liver, and stomach were born on the outside of her body! She was also born with two heart defects ASD and VSD. Had open heart surgery at 2 months old and tracheostomy surgery at 4 months. She spent 172 days in the NICU, and everyday I was grateful for the Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Physical and Speech Therapists, Doctors, Front desk, and the sanitary workers. They always made my baby feel loved and given the best care everyday.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She’s continues to prove everyone wrong and she doesn’t even know it.
