My NICU Graduate's Journey
My daughter, Phoebe, was born at 28 weeks at 2 lb 11 oz and 14 inches long! She was three months early! We chose Mercy Hospital because they had a wonderful reputation for taking care of premature babies as I was in a very high risk pregnancy. She came to the world a fighter and with the help of the wonderful angels at Mercy, she thrived over a 3 month period in the NICU. When she left the NICU, she weighed about 5lb. Now, she will be 5 in June!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Phoebe is a strong and confident young child! Our family has faced some obstacles in the past year but she continues to smile and has the best sense of humor. She’s very kind, loving and cares greatly about others. When she first came to the world, she faced so many challenges and overcame them all. She continues to grow with a warm heart and the fighting spirit!
