NICU Hospital for my journeySeton Medical Center Austin
My NICU Graduate's JourneyJamie was born at 31 weeks. He was brought out of his incubator and weaned off of oxygen very quickly. His main challenge was learning to eat. With support of all the hospital staff, Jamie finally conquered this too and went home on his exact due date- 2months later! We are so thankful to all the staff at the Seton NICU and the hand to hold staff for making sure that not only Jamie, but also us parents, were cared for.
What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?Jamie is often described by others as the happiest baby they’ve ever met, and we can’t help but agree. We’re very proud of our smiley boy for overcoming his NICU obstacles and for trying his best with his current milestones he’s working on. We’ve been amazed at his progress. His little personality is shining through now and we’re so excited for his future.
