My NICU Graduate's Journey
Charlotte was born via emergency c-section at 25 weeks 1 day due to a placental abruption and came out blue and pulseless. She was 1lb 10.6oz and 12.99in at birth. Today, she is almost 14 months old, has been discharged from the care of her specialists (lungs are better, eyes are better, heart defect has resolved!), and is just a normal (really miracle) baby!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is the strongest person I’ve ever met and that’s saying a lot because I’m a nurse who is also a pediatric cancer survivor! She has never let statistics dictate the course of her life!
