My NICU Graduate's Journey
My water broke at 26 weeks and I was hospitalized until I delivered Madison at 29 weeks. Madison was 2 lbs 11 oz. She was in the NICU at Parkland Dallas for 63 days due to A and B episodes. Once she overcame those she was home just in time for Thanksgiving!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She has overcame every obstacle that was set in front of her. She is one of the most intelligent, kind little girls. At her cognitive testing this year we were told she is well ahead of her actual age. Madison will start prek in the fall and she wants to be an "animal doctor"! She loves to watch Educational videos, especially ones about the body and how our bodies function!
