My NICU Graduate's Journey
My son was born 27 weeks at 1lb 13 oz. The nurses at Children’s in Pittsburg were exceptional! Couldn’t have had him at a better place! He is almost about to be 2 weighing 14lb 6oz. It’s been a journey but the NICU he stayed in was incredible and just so nice. They tried to help in any way that they could. For him being early, I wouldn’t have wanted him anywhere else. They were like family to us. We are so so grateful every day for them. They got us through the most toughest times that we could have ever went through.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Being able to live and enjoy our lives. My son has such a personality and just loves people (especially babies).
