My NICU Graduate's Journey
Marley and her twin were born at 26w4d. Aside from prematurity, Marley looked to be a healthy baby. During her stay in the NICU she developed CPAP belly and had many complications that resulted from that, one of which becoming septic and having to be intubated 24 days old. After a week of intubation, she told the doctors she was done and ripped that tube out! After that we knew this little girls was a force to be reckoned with. She surpassed all of her weight and feeding requirements with flying colors and became the NICU nurses little butterball. She spent a total of 4months and 3 days in the nicu.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Marley is the happiest, sassiest, kindest, and most loving little lady. We can’t believe how quick, smart, and wonderful she is.
