My NICU Graduate's Journey
Khloe was born 8 weeks early due to preeclampsia. She weighed 2lbs 5oz at birth. When Khloe arrived I had a case of covid and couldn’t see her for 10 days while under quarantine at the hospital but the amazing nurses sent me photos and even video chatted with me to help pass the time. Khloe struggled with breathing on her own and feedings for a while that she quickly overcame. She also was enrolled in Missouri First Steps to help with muscle functioning and speech. Today Khloe is a ball of personality she still has some struggles with meeting weight goals but don’t let her size fool you! She is a spunky intelligent 3 year old.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Khloes joy makes me so happy. She is filled with so much personality and her vocabulary is through the roof!
