My NICU Graduate's Journey
Callie was born at 26 weeks weighing 1lb 11.5 ounces. She spent and fought a long 104 days in the NICU where she developed a bowel infection that got corrected. She was determined to show the Dr's she can make it. They ended up giving her a nickname of octopus because she would always find a way out of her CPAP and when they would take it off to change it out would get her little hands in there some how. Callie is now 6.5 and graduating kindergarten!!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Everything makes me proud. I did not think I'd have this opportunity to watch my NICU baby grow up but here we are defeating the odds. She's definitely impressed me in school I was so nervous to put her in school.
