My NICU Graduate's Journey
Johnathan was born at 29w2d due to severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Despite his rocky start, he was born pink and crying and was a little fighter from the beginning. He spent 81 days in NICU before we finally got to take him home 1 week after his original due date.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Johnathan (or LJ) is such a little character! All that fight that we saw as an infant has manifested into the most fun and imaginative preschooler! Johnathan loves sports (especially baseball), riding horses and being a “cowboy,” and his two dogs more than anything. His favorite game is always pretend play, and he loves to rope us into his adventures with “Mommy, pretend that you’re a (whatever crazy character/animal/monster he’s dreamed up)!” Life is infinitely more entertaining when he’s around, and we’re so proud every day to be his parents!
