My NICU Graduate's Journey
Mother had HELLP, so Emmett was born at 25 weeks and 6 days via emergency c-section, during Covid. He spent 4 months in the NICU, with a 3 week stint in Seattle for a piccolo occluded heart procedure. Emmett now has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and a Global Developmental Delay. He is crushing his goals in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and loving life.
