My NICU Graduate's Journey
Jackson was born at 31 weeks and six days. He had a feeding tube and was on a breathing machine. He spent 61 days in the NICU. He overcame necrotizing enterocolitis, Hole in the heart and finally passed his car seat test and stopped having spells where he quit breathing. He came home on a heart monitor and finally outgrew it. He’s my one and only child the joy of my life.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He has overcome so many obstacles being born so early and is now a very happy and healthy four-year-old with no major medical problems or side effects from being born early. He has just completed his first year of preschool! He is playing T-ball this summer.
