My NICU Graduate's JourneyRowen’s journey started off at 24 weeks as a triplet. He and his brother Finn are surviving triplets. Rowen fought so hard to be here, 10 months in the NICU. There were many times we didn’t know if he would make it or ever come home. It was touch and go for months. With God’s help and his will to live, he did come home. He came home with a trach, ventilator, and feeding tube. He got his trach out 2 yrs ago at the age of 7. He is a living miracle & has so much drive for life! He loves to swim, create things using legos, still LOVES his hot wheels & other cars and trucks. One of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet. He absolutely loves his family and especially his brother. He has a huge heart for animals as well. Very Gentle soul he is.
What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?Learning doesn’t come as easy as it does for his brother but he doesn’t let that get him down or frustrated, instead he works even harder. He gives 110% & I love that about him. He never gives up! Just like in the NICU. Also, how kind his heart is to others. He is an absolute beautiful human!
