My NICU Graduate's Journey
Jia was born without her stomach and intestines connecting. She was also born with a very short umbilical cord which caused her to have several heart defects. She had emergency surgery the day after her birth to repair her stomach and she has endured 3 heart surgeries and is facing one more. She’s now 4 years old!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
We’re so proud of her because she doesn’t let her health issues stop her. She’s actively playing T-BALL and loves school. She’s a very friendly and loving kid. She doesn’t let anything stop her from enjoying life. Not even sickness
