My NICU Graduate's Journey
Mia was born via emergency cesarean, I was induced due to preeclampsia at 38 weeks. She was apneic and required emergency treatment from the NICU team. During her stay she had several episodes and required oxygen and a feeding tube, and bilirubin light therapy. Mia’s stay was just shy of 3 weeks, it felt like an eternity, but I will always be so grateful to the NICU team for taking care of my daughter.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I am so proud of Mia because nothing slows her down. Thankfully she has grown to be a healthy, smart and sassy toddler. She is very inquisitive and loves to read and learn. I know she will grow up and do great things with her life.
