My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our NICU journey began in 2012 when our son, Henry, was born at 29 weeks weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces. After being on bedrest for three weeks, my escalating preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome led to an emergency c-section. Henry spent 8 weeks in the NICU. There were so many highs and lows during our stay, but we were always so grateful for the wonderful medical care and support we had in our NICU from the medical staff and the Family Advisory Council.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Henry is such a kind sweet soul. He loves school, soccer, and his friends. He always has a book in his hand and helped his school's Battle of the Books team win 3rd in the county this year. On the weekends you can find him on a soccer field running circles around everyone. But the best part about Henry is his gentle heart. If you're a friend of Henry's you have a loyal friend for life.
