My NICU Graduate's Journey
Born at 26 weeks, we were told she had 72hours to live. That if she did, she would be a vegetable and need care for the rest of her life. 120 long days of ups and downs in the NICU. She was due on a packers game, came home on a packers game day. And was born on the packers family game night. She is a fighter. She came home on only oxygen, but came off less then 3 months later!
In 21 days she wraps up 2nd grade!!!!! Miracles happen, especially inside the nicu walls

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She is reading at 2 levels ahead, graduated to every other week of OT. Sow Taylor swift and traded 130 bracelets. Goes to PT every week. She is doing amazing things. Everyday she reminds me what it is to fight. She be but little she is fierce.
