My NICU Graduate's Journey
Logan has two chromosome defects that caused several health issues. He spent time in the NICU for his heart issue. He needed open heart surgery to save his life when he was a few days old. He came on a feeding tube and multiple types of therapy. He went back to Duke at a year old to correct his sternum that didn’t heal correctly. He’s an awesome little boy with a quick smile and hug for anyone. He doesn’t let anything hold him back from doing what he wants to do!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
He’s the strongest person I know. He works to accomplish his goals. He’s a polite, compassionate, kind young man. When it was said he wouldn’t be able to do much of anything, he has proven that to be so wrong!
