My NICU Graduate's Journey
I was 31 weeks when I didn’t feel my baby move so i went into the hospital to find out my baby had no heart beat but then he had hiccups so I got sent home and then was rushed back into hospital because he still wasn’t moving and then when I got in his heart beat was dropping like he was in distress so I was rushed into a emergency C-section 20 minutes later I had a 3 lbs 5 oz baby boy healthy but so tiny he was on so many monitors and was in the nicu for a month a week and a day he then just kept excelling in everything he needed to overcome he got to come home at 5 lbs and he kept overcoming everything the Dr said he wouldn’t be able to and to say he would be mildly autistic but he has even overcome every obstacle and test and now is 1 of 3 top students in his class.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Everything, he is the most smart, kind, and loving child. I love seeing him overcome everything thing doctors and people doubted.
