My NICU Graduate's Journey
Harper was a very large baby. Due to her size, they ended up using a vacuum assist. She then developed brain hemmorages that weren't discovered until reaching Erlanger. She spent 25 days in the NICU. Thankfully she did not have to have surgery, and at her 5 year brain scan everything was clear. She is now 8 years old and about to enter 2nd grade. She is also on the autism spectrum, but that's okay because she doesn't see herself as disabled. Only a different way of being able ❤️❤️

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
That she views the world as it should be. She sees no ugly or mean. She sees the good in everyone. Even if someone is mean to her, she is not going to retaliate. She will just come back with more love than before
