My NICU Graduate's Journey
Lucas was born at 30 weeks to the day. He weight 2 lbs 15 oz and is 15” long. He spent 69 days in the NICU with many hiccups along the way. For the first 3 years, he threw up 3-4 times a day and was in therapy since 6 months old to help him developmentally. He is now 5 soon to be 6 next week. He still is in therapy for speech/feeding, for his sensory issues, and OT. There is still a lot he is working through but he is smart, loving, adventurous, and loves his superheroes and playing baseball. I’m so proud of the man he is becoming and I thank the doctors and nurses every day for my miracle baby! 💕

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I am so proud of what he has faught through and continues to go through. He always has a smile on his face and loves to see everyone around him happy.
