My NICU Graduate's Journey
Coming in 6 weeks early, little Emerson was born at 3 lbs 9 oz. He always showed us from the beginning how strong he was. Although he had to stay in the NICU for several weeks, he was able to smile the entire time. He was the happiest baby, and loved listening to anyone talk. Emerson was able to take his feeding tube out within a few days and was able to get his oxygen tube out in week two. He always fought to show us how ready he was to come home. We were able to bring him home before he hit 6 lbs because he was able to graduate early.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Emerson has continued to grow and make us proud everyday. He is smart, funny, and kind. I genuinely forget where he started some days because he never once has let his size determine who he is and what he wants to do.
