My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our journey through the NICU was like a roller coaster. It had so many highs and lows. You never knew what was going to happen next. Sometimes there were tears of joy when you get to hear your baby cry for the first time after being on the ventilator for 6 months. Tears of sorrow when they tell you your child won’t make it through the night. Never knew if we were coming or going. But through it all, it has helped us learn how precious life is and how things can change on a dime and to treasure what you do have in life. Our son has always been a fighter and has taught us so much about life.
