My NICU Graduate's Journey
Sophie is our only surviving 24 week triplet, her brother and sister passed at 24 & 34 days old. Sophie spent 166 days in the NICU where she had ROP surgery and a G-tube placed. She was G-tube fed the 1st 5 years of her life, but now is a fantastic eater!

At 12, she still struggles with minor learning delays and sensory issues, which have also led us to diagnoses of ADHD and Anxiety. But, overall, she is a happy and healthy 12 year old.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She fights hard to overcome any obstacles that are placed in her way. She's also extremely sensitive and tender-hearted, caring more about others than herself.
