My NICU Graduate's Journey
Avery was born at 27 weeks due to maternal pre-eclampsia. She had a birth weight of 1lb. 14 oz. and spent 90 days in the NICU. She was on the ventilator for 5 days and was tube fed for 2 months. She slowly gained weight and was able to bottle feed. She came home with no medical equipment required!

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
She has overcome so much! Avery was diagnosed with ADD, anxiety, and sensory processing disorder. She had OT for several years and attends tutoring in addition to getting help in school through Special Education. This year, in 7th grade she made straight A's!
