My NICU Graduate's Journey
After being told for over 25 years, I would never have children, at the age of 38, I was blessed with my first born. Christian Alexander Williams was born at 25 weeks gestation, 1 lbs. 9 oz. and 13 1/2 inches long. He remained in NICU for 78 days with no complications. Alex went home one month before his actual due date. He was so tiny and I was so scared. He showed me strength and love. He has been my hero since day one. A huge light in my life. And is now a big brother. He is extremely smart for seven years old. Hardly ever gets sick. The love he shows to everyone has no bounds. I am proud to be his mom. He was sent to me to make me a better person. And show to show the work kindness and love and that it still exists.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
Alex has thrived no matter the situation. From birth until now he has shown that he can do anything he puts his mind to.
