My NICU Graduate's Journey
Our Buckley is a miracle in every way- conception, premie NICU stay, and beyond. He came into the world 9 weeks early and stayed in the hospital for 45 days. You would never know he was a tiny miracle- he’s smart, sassy, goofy and all the amazing qualities you want in a boy. We truly feel so blessed for our NICU stay- we met so many amazing doctors, specialists, and other parents along the way and we wouldn’t be the family we are today without them.

What makes you proud of you NICU graduate?
I am proud of Buckley’s fight, resilience, and grit. From day one he was a fighter and not a single thing has changed. He tells everyone that he used to live in a freezer and then he stayed in the hospital for a long time and he is VERY proud of this, as he should be. We are all so proud of his growth during his stay, but are even more proud of his growth since he left the NICU.
