Annie is a Husky-German Shepherd mix born after her mother (and dozens of other dogs) were rescued from unsafe conditions at a property in Quebec. Annie, her mother, and siblings were placed in foster care in Ontario by Loyal Rescue. That is where she was living when her Williamsville-based human family traveled north of the border to make her theirs.
This photo was taken in December 2019 as Annie's family prepped their Christmas tree. Annie is looking forward to many hours spent beneath the tree this year - but she'd prefer to do so without wearing the tree skirt.
