A little about me...My name is Gioia Mia I was known as Bonnie when I was at the SPCA. My dad chose my name Gioia (spelled the Italian way) which means joy and happiness. My mom had just said good bye to her Golden beauty about 2 weeks prior to my dad finding me. He knew my mom was very very sad because of her loss. My dad was hoping I could bring joy, happiness and hope to my mom. It was a rough start but after about 1 week or so I won my mom's heart. I am happy to say I did fulfill my goal. With time and a lot of patience, my mom and I helped each other to heal. Now we are doing great and really enjoying our time together. My mom found the sport of K9 nose work and boy do I love it! I must say I am really great at it, I must be, since I have 2 ribbons and about 10 certificates. Soon I will go to get tested on my 3 scents and then I can start to compete. I have no fear that with the help of my mom & dad I will be one of the best nose work dogs around. I will be known as the Chocolate Wonder, or at least that is my dream.
