My dog is the coolest because...
Fiona came to Wisconsin 2 years ago after she had a rough start to life in Alabama. She was abandoned at a kill shelter in the middle of the night as a puppy. But she was rescued thanks to Second Chance Rescue. We fell in love with her the moment we met her at her foster's home and couldn't imagine life without her.
We believe she is a heeler/pit bull mix and can definitely see the qualities of both shine through. She is extremely loyal and loves to be wherever we are. She is very energetic and loves to run, fetch and catch a Frisbee. She enjoys all of Wisconsin's seasons. Her favorite things to do are swimming in summer and running through the snow in winter. She loves to go camping, especially in the fall when it's cool at night and she can snuggle with mom and dad in the tent.
Fiona likes to watch the birds out the window with her kitty siblings, Nora and Loki. She also got a new human baby sister, Emery this summer. She has been so gentle and loving to the baby and is always watching out for her. She loves to lick little baby feet to let Emery know she loves her. She definitely got the "nanny dog" trait from her pitbull ancestors. We can't wait to watch them continue to grow up together.
We love coming home to the crazy tail wagging excitement we get after work. Fiona has a ton of personality and is never shy to let out a big, dramatic sigh if she wants attention. She loves to play hide and seek around the kitchen island. But most of all she loves to get her zoomies out in the backyard.
We love our silly, loving, loyal girl. She truly is top dog in our eyes. You can't help but smile when you look at that adorable face. (And yes, one ear always sticks up and the other flops over).
