For almost 60 years, the Neenah Animal Shelter has been there for all kinds of animals in all conditions. When they have nowhere else to go, they can come to us and we will help them find a new start in life--another chance to be loved.

In 1962 we opened our doors to take in the first of these heartwarming creatures. Since then, thousands of animals--from street-smart cats and white-faced retrievers to newborn kittens and bouncing pups--have come through our doors needing food, warmth, medicine and a forever home.

Lion’s Tail was born from the dream of a passionate home-brewer to one day have a taproom where he could share his love for quality craft beer with more than just his family and friends. Our owners Alex and Kristin Wenzel were finally able to make their dream a reality when they opened the doors to Lion’s Tail Brewing Co.  in November of 2015. Our Brewery & Taproom is located in downtown Neenah, next to the Clock Tower, on Commercial Street in the 115-year-old, former Equitable Reserve Association that has since earned its spot on the Historic Register.  

Our all-electric, 10-barrel brewhouse produces over 70 unique beers every year, with 40+ of them new, ranging in styles from traditional European lagers, to fruited slushee sours, to New England IPAs, and even barrel-aged stouts, with many other styles in-between. With 24 of our beers on tap in the Neenah taproom, we've got an option everyone will enjoy inside this historic building or on our newly-constructed outdoor patio, and can't wait to open our second Brewery & Taproom location in Wauwatosa, WI in Fall 2022 to spread our love of craft beer even further. Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis is a thriving organization of men and women dedicated to serving the children and young people of Oshkosh through iPads for Autism, educational grants, student wellness programs, and other great initiatives. As part of Kiwanis International, the group also supports children throughout the nation and the world. The Oshkosh Mid-Morning Kiwanis Foundation financially supports club activities and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity.
